Artist Statement: The word “gratitude" does not even describe my appreciation and unyielding devotion to the industrious honey bees of our planet. These small, but not insignificant insects are the reason we have a produce department or any other related food source that requires pollination to create our eating enjoyment and survival. They also produce honey, which sustains their lifecycle and enriches our daily lives. If honey bees vanish from our blue planet, we the human inhabitants and other ecological groups will follow suit. This planet is an ecosystem that depends on each other to survive and the domino effect comes into play when one major component is vanishes. I want my one-month-old great grandson to enjoy a full life, and honey bees will ensure it as well as many other factors, My gratitude reaches out daily to these little members of our cycle of life. Do your part and Save The Honey Bees from vanishing!
