Artist Statement:
Porcelain forms are thrown on a potter’s wheel and then combined to create small sculptures. The pieces are then burnished to create a smooth surface in which the color is fired upon. The Speckletone glaze requires additional firings.
The forms is set with traditional Metalsmithing techniques and the designs mimics the circular forms.

Artist Bio:
Lynn Latta grew up in West LA, where she was exposed early and often to a wide variety of modern art and pop culture.
She studied fine arts in a variety of mediums including learned ceramics, oil painting and mixed media
Her love for materials is a constant inspiration.
Lynn attended Art Center College of Design where she got her BFA and worked as an Art Director in Advertising for fifteen years before switching back to her first love, hand crafted work.
