Danaca Design Internship Form

Our internship program is for individuals who are excited to learn more about the inner workings of a vibrant, community-centered jewelry making space and gallery.

Internship Details
Dates: 3 month commitment with the potential to extend
Schedule: 1–2 days per week (approximately 5–10 hours/week)
Location: On-site in the University District, Seattle
Compensation: Unpaid; includes studio access and professional development opportunities

Interns may assist with a range of tasks, including:

• Supporting daily operations in the studio and retail gallery

• Assisting with class set-up and clean-up

• Helping maintains tools, equipment, and shared studio space

• Contributing to gallery displays and event preparation

• Learning about metalsmithing tools, techniques, and studio safety

• Gaining insight into the business side of running a gallery and teaching studio

Ideal Candidate

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a jewelry/metals program

• Curious, reliable, and eager to learn

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Passionate about handmade craft and supporting artists

• Prior studio experience is helpful but not required
