Artist Statement: During the pandemic, I was unable to work and support my family. I discovered my own vulnerability at a time of great uncertainty about the future. Thanks to the spontaneous solidarity of many people, I was able to survive with dignity.

In my pieces I chose to work with cardboard, the same material from the boxes that contained the food donations I received.
The use and transformation of this material is a way of recycling my own fears and a reminder of the hope in the human being.
