One of a kind

Artist Statement:  Sandhill cranes stop in the San Luis Valley in March on their way south for the summer. This depicts the Sangre de Cristo mountains in the east. The leaves in the trees are 24K nuggets from Alaska, the sun/moon is 18K and the rest of the trim is 14K on sterling silver. Each piece is hand cut with the jewelers saw and some pieces are very tiny! This is definitely a one-of-a-kind piece!

Technical Process Info: Fabrication and hand piercing plus soldering.

Artist Bio: I grew up in Denver and started making jewelry in 1973 which happens to be over 50 years ago at this point! I use a mix of sterling silver, unique gemstones with my own unique ideas and fabricate every piece in my home studio.
