Artist Statement: This ring reflects movement—galaxies merging, nature’s quiet growth, and life unfolding against all odds. Inspired by ARP 273, the Rose Galaxies, it mirrors the transformation that occurs when 2 worlds collide. Like life on Earth, shaped by unlikely events, it embodies the ebb and flow of change. The stacked leaves symbolize how simple elements combine to form something greater, capturing the raw beauty of transformation, where even chaos gives rise to something new and extraordinary.
Technical Process Info: Fabrication. Made with individually sawed and soldered sterling silver elements. The backplate is textured with a real leaf.
Artist Bio: I'm a full-time English teacher (from Egypt) in France, and in my free time, I create metal and enamel art. Crafting allows me to explore and express my experience of the world, blending my fascination with nature, physics and the universe with the malleability of metal. Growing up without creative freedom, I now fully embrace it through my work. To me, jewelry is more than adornment—it’s a language, a story, and a reflection of identity, one I can shape by my hands, heart, and curious mind.
