Artist Statement: Ninefold (2023), is a ring made out of silver that consists of nine different squares that are intertwined with each other. Together they hold the peridot making it seem as if the ring is constantly moving and changing around the finger.

Artist Bio: Verstraete Tyana (°1999, Belgium) is a young visual artist that recently started studying jewellery design at the PXL Mad, Hasselt. Her work consists out of different materials that keep a certain balance of harmony. Conceptually it is important for her there is a certain layering consisting in her work. Experimentation is one of the main things that is important in her process of creating. She is always looking for that special something that gives a certain extra meaning to the piece, but gives the viewer space to also make its own interpretation.
