The aspen, scrub oak, willows and cottonwoods begin to fade from their peak of color as fall leans toward winter in our San Juan mountains of SW Colorado. Autumn colors cascade like falling leaves below semi-circular hollow forms adorned with cutouts representative of the blocky sandstone forming our closest and most colorful canyons.
