Burcu Buyukunal - Burcu

Artist: Burcu Buyukunal
Materials: drinking straws, plexiglass, sterling silver
Size: 6

Artist Statement:
Burcu is my very first independent collection from 2006 that came to life as a result of my search for interesting materials for jewellery. Drinking straws became my main material and they were accompanied by plexiglass. Realizing that it is still contemporary today I added new and bolder pieces to the collection which made my working process even more meditative in a new chapter of my life as a mother.
