Eero Hintsanen | Ruoti

Artist: Eero Hintsanen, Finland
Materials: 925 silver
Size: 7 3/4 - 8

Artist Statement: Ruoti ring is a wearable sculpture. It is almost like a piece of found object, but you don’t quite know what is its origin.

Growing up in the countryside with forest and lakes as my playground, the raw and primitive side of nature often shows in my jewelry. My works also reflect my fascination with the mystique of old stories, and they may tempt the viewers to ponder the inspiration and messages in them.
